Testimonies
"Of all the poetry classes I have taken this year (5), this was the one I learned the most from . . . Tim is a thinker and he leads us through his thought process and those of the poets we have read with gentle guidance."

Claudia, Documentary Poetry
"Tim dismantles the workshop in the best possible way. He centers the poet/writer and their voice. This means that the authority is with the author, and all the participants work as allies in the cause of their writing."

Didi, Poetry Workshop
Writing Consultations
Writing coaching can look like a lot of different things: revising and editing a manuscript or essay, reinvigorating work that feels "stuck," tuning an artist statement or cover letter, or building positive habits and mindsets so you can feel good about your writing. Because writing doesn't need to be done alone.

Sessions are casual and designed around you and your writing goals. My own writing emphasizes hybrid and experimental forms, documentary and ekphrastic forms, and collaborations with other artists. Meaning: whatever you are doing, I'm interested.
